This
is a sharply funny comedy about what happens when some community theater
actors
get a hold of a professional review of their performances at the
opening night party.
The play from the playwright who wrote "The Boys Next
Door" is a wonderfully funny show
with a very poignant end.
The Story: Following the opening night of the Timberly Trooper's musical, The Undertaker's Melody, Dorothy and her eccentric husband Charlie, host a cast party. The guests include an amateur ventriloquist, a legendary (at least in his own mind) leading man, an aspiring Hollywood starlet, an over-bearing "ham" and his long- suffering wife, a former love interest, and a professional theater critic. When the theater critic falls ill and his review of their performance is discovered, everyone has to deal with some harsh realities that range from hilarious to heart-breaking.
Seating is first come, first served, but people who make a reservation can choose a seat in the front section
