George and Charlotte Hay are fading stars of a
repertory theatre troupe in the 1950's on tour in Buffalo, NY and they’ve
just lost roles in a new film. To add to their troubles, the company ingénue
is pregnant, the resident costume mistress is Charlotte's hard of hearing
mother, the Hay's attorney is taken with Charlotte, and their daughter is
engaged to a forgetful weatherman, but hasn't totally forgotten about Paul,
the troupe's manager and young leading man. When George's agent calls to say
that renowned movie director Frank Capra will be attending the matinee
performance and he's casting for his latest epic film, pandemonium breaks
out. The play is full of mistaken identity, missing persons,
misunderstandings, raucous physical comedy, and lots of laughs.
Admission is $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors
