Three happily-married couples, who are the pillars of their society, and prominent at their church, gather to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their triple wedding ceremony, but the men have to take care of some unpleasant business before they get their deserts. Their church organist has been discovered out in the evening with a pretty young girl and they want it to stop. When the men have him cornered, the organist reveals that the three couples weren’t properly married 25 years before and he’s got the proof. The men try to keep the news from their wives and neighbors as they scheme to solve the problem, but word leaks out thanks to disloyal domestics and surprise guests who come to help celebrate the anniversary. The couples reel from the news and try to decide how they feel about the 25 year commitment they’ve made to one another. Will things ever be the same for them?
