Bus Stop is a successful Broadway classic comedy by one of America's most skilled and respected playwrights. A bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a roadside diner in the middle of a howling snowstorm. All roads are blocked and the five weary travelers are going to have to hold up until morning.

Characters include:

ELMA DUCKWORTH: A waitress, a big-eyed girl, still in high school, an innocent.
GRACE HOYLARD: The owner of the restaurant, a seasoned woman in her 30's to 40's.
WILL MASTERS: The local sheriff, he is a large and saturnine man whose presence can be forbidding.
CHERIE: A blonde, young girl of about 20 from the Ozarks.  She is curvy and calls herself a chanteuse because she sings in local bars.
DR. GERALD LYMAN: A former college professor, about 50 years old with grey hair and a ruddy complexion.  He likes his rye with or without soda.
CARL: The bus driver.  He's a hearty man, outgoing and warm in his 30's to 40's.
VIRGIL BLESSING: A large and slow ranch hand in his 40's, he's Bo's side-kick and mentor.  He plays the guitar a bit.
BO DECKER: A young rancher and prize-winning cowboy in his early 20's.   He's tall, slim, and good looking.
